i think that our song was to complex for the matireals, people, and amount of time we had this session so we didnt end up completeing it today.
What Went Right (Successes)
the most sucsessflul part of the song was proboly the guitair. I think that our stylistic choice for recording guitair on the microphone was also a very succsesful part on the song.

the guitair part that was the strongest was the intro, it was this way because it starts off the song very good and strong tempo and starting point. this is also the part of the song that we recorded the most in one take with out cutting or editing the length.

I think that the tone and effects of the vocals couldve definitly be changed nd alterd more then we did change them

I do think that the band partially made a cover of a song but it definitly wasnt finished or complete by the time the session ended. there were only 2 tracks on this song and we recorded more and had lots of unique ideas for this song but just didnt have the time.
What Went Wrong (Challenges)
I would say the major roadblocks we ran into is that each team member missed atleast one day of the session and the group became very unfunctonal with only 2 or one of us so thoes days that all of us wernt there it was hard to get anything done.
Scope Creep or Arrangement Flaws:
yes, I think the vocals trying to line up perfectly like the original in this cover was very difficult to get placment right and if one beat was off just slightly everyone would know and it would become a chain reaction of mess ups.
Technical Issues (Gear/Sound):
our worst issue with sound and gear ended up trying to record acoustic through a microphone in a main room where lots of sounds like drumbs, laughing, doors, and people were. we couldnt record lots of the time because other groups were using the smaller rooms and the groups in our same room were often playing other loud noises that would drownd out the guitair so we could only record at very limited times.

yes, i would say poor planning caused lots of slowing down and lost amounts of time.
